Rob Landwehrmann > Early Thursday morning activity in Louisburg
Rob Landwehrmann > Thursday night in Roanoke Rapids. George Brooks, who owns the Java Junction downtown is a painter of well know landmarks in the South East area. He paints water towers and his work includes the Peach tower in Gaffney, South Carolina, the Charlotte Knights Baseball tower just south of Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Hot Air Balloon tower near Wytheville, Virginia. He mentioned a few others I am not familiar with.
Rob Landwehrmann > Friday afternoon in Eastern NC
Rob Landwehrmann > Calm Saturday morning leaving Edenton
Rob Landwehrmann > One of the many different bikes in CNC
Rob Landwehrmann > Yours Truly....at the finish of 462 miles across North Carolina. I felt like I needed a Grave Digger that afternoon!
Rob Landwehrmann > John Gantt, from Fairview, NC...a CNC veteran of may tours. He let another rider borrow his front wheel on Monday. The rider crashed just outside of the park monday morning and destroyed his wheel. That is the kind of guy John is, a real team player! He rejoined the riders Tuesday after getting his wheel back.
Rob Landwehrmann > Mal Fordham, from Annapolis, MD...another strong rider! CNC 2007 was not enough for him, he plans to ride home from Raleigh to Annapolis on the Adventure Cycling East Coast route...self contained!!! Good luck Mal!
Rob Landwehrmann > Some of us set up our tent one more time. The base of the Corrolla Lighthouse was tent city Saturday night. This is a view of the site from the top of the tower.
